Meet Jon Kellogg, FrontierUS Partner Development Manager!
A member of the FrontierUS team since 1999, Jon is an expert in helping our partner resellers achieve their business goals.
What does a day in your life look like?
It starts out at 7 AM on Monday morning, after I go to the gym. I make some breakfast at the office (typically some sort of omelette), have some coffee, go through my emails, and set my plan for the day.
Then the rest of the team starts rolling in. Bad jokes commence, as do emails and phone conversations with partners discussing everything from the appropriate Peplink device to use in a specific scenario, to the origins of specific breeds of dogs (not necessarily with partners, but I’ve had this conversation).
Then I realize it’s 1 PM and I haven’t eaten, so I make lunch (stir fry, leg of lamb, or whatever I have in the fridge). I realize that my plan is off-schedule, so I refocus. The afternoons are typically a blur of more emails, phone conversations, and trying to stick to the plan.
Then all of a sudden it’s Friday and they tell me I have to go home.
What do you love about your job?
All of it. The technical aspects are challenging, which I enjoy, but for me it’s really about the people.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I love hanging out with my wife and daughter and going on adventures with them. I also really like home remodeling projects.
Do you have any pets?
We have two dogs, George and Jack. Neither come to the office. George is too old and angry, kind of like me some days, and Jack is just… he’s just too much for me to handle at the office.
What’s something about you people might not know?
I am not bald. I have simply instructed my hair to stop growing on certain parts of my head.
