Haiti & Chile Survivors
Ping Pong Challenge Fundraiser

When:  Saturday April 10th

Where:  Turtle Creek Casino and Hotel

The entry fee is $20.00 per person.

All proceeds will go to American Red Cross of Northwest Michigan for the survivors of the Haiti and Chile earthquakes. All donations are welcome even If you do not participate in the ping pong challenge.

Donations can be dropped off at Frontier Computer Corp at 1275 Business Park Drive, Traverse City, MI 49686 (off Three Mile) or mailed to the attention of Barbi Hill.

There will be 4 tables available with 8 persons at a time playing. You may come and spend the day to check out the competition or wait until all names have been received, at which time they will be drawn randomly for slot spaces on Wednesday night. Call Thursday or Friday to learn the name of your opponent and match time.

Please arrive 30 minutes early to assure that you are prepared and ready to play. Anyone called twice for their time slot will forfeit their game and will not be refunded their $20.00 entry fee.

Food and drinks will be available in the Casino and Hotel restaurants. Turtle Creek Casino and Hotel will be donating a $2-off for use in any of the restaurants to each participating contestant. Each contestant will also be given a $10 e-credit for slot machine play donated by Turtle Creek Casino and Hotel.

• Things to bring:
  • Comfortable clothing & shoes
  • Your own ping pong paddle
  • A positive attitude!

There will be paddles available for those of you that do not have one or have forgotten yours. (we all know that this is the most important thing in winning your match!)

 Rules:

Each game will start with a volley and needs to clear the net three times. The person winning the volley will be the first server and will serve 5 times before going to the other player. The game is played to 21 and must be won by 2 points even if this means the game goes past 21. The person winning this match will move on to the next round.
