The IBM RS6000 7017 Model S80 offers 64-bit computing while still supporting 32-bit applications. The 7017 Model S80 offers 24 processors and a maximum of 96GB with the AIX Version 4.3.3.

The Model S80 is a 6-way SMP system that utilizes 64-bit, 450MHz, RS64III processor with 8MB of L2 cache per processor. The 6-way SMP can be expanded to 24-way SMP. Frontier offers used and refurbished RS6000 Model S80 systems.
