With one DS8000 Model 92E Expansion Unit, the DS8300 Turbo Model 932 supports up to 384 disk drives, for a maximum capacity of up to 192 TB, and up to 32 ESCON or Fibre Channel/FICON adapters.
With two DS8000 Model 92E Expansion Units, the DS8300 Turbo Model 932 supports up to 640 disk drives, for a maximum capacity of up to 320 TB, and up to 32 ESCON or Fibre Channel/FICON adapters.
With three DS8000 Model 92E expansion units, the DS8300 Turbo Model 932 supports up to 896 disk drives, for a maximum capacity of up to 448 TB.
With four DS8000 Model 92E expansion units, the DS8300 Turbo Model 932 supports up to 1024 disk drives, for a maximum capacity of up to 512 TB.
