The B1000 workstation are desktop models which support a single processor and offer a lower cost entry point for technical computing. The Model B1000 uses a 300MHz PA-8500 processor and includes 512KB of instruction and 1MB of data cache. The unit can support two internal disk drives equating to a 72GB maximum when configured with 2 x 36GB drives. It also supports from 256MB through to 2GB of memory.
