The Cisco 576 LRE CPE is a simple one-port bridge that translates LRE into Ethernet. The Cisco 576 CPE has one Fast Ethernet port and two RJ-11 connectors. The Cisco 576 LRE CPE is only interoperable with the Catalyst 2950 LRE 997 switch as part of the Cisco Long-Reach Ethernet networking solution. Cisco 585 LRE CPEs can be monitored remotely using Cisco Switch Clustering technology, which allows users to configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot up to 16 devices from a Web browser and single IP address.
